anticipating asphalt to be applied to the
roads soon.

GOLF COURSE UPDATE
Welcome
to the Players Course at Grand Lake Estates,
hours of operation are Wednesday through
Thursday the start time 9 am, Friday through
Saturday the start time is 8 am. If you are
calling for tee times, please leave a
message with the day and time of your
request. A Grand Lake Estates representative
will return your call to confirm. If you
need directions to the Players Course, Click
"Golf Course", then Driving Directions.
Due
to past rainfall and unusual weather
conditions in the past few months, the
bent-grass greens suffered. We've
established temporary greens Sept. 19th and
the course will be open for all play in the
last week of September/first week of
October. Weather-permitting (cooler
weather must occur for 75 consecutive days
with temperatures reaching 60 degrees at
night), we will overseed all damaged greens.
All greens should be back to normal and
playable by the end of October.
We
are taking bids to complete all cart paths
and the bridge.
We
are looking for a landscaper to add color to
the golf course. Contractor referrals are
welcome.
A
notice for all Players Course members: In
efforts to maintain the quality of the
course, we ask that you practice the 90
degree rule on all fairways. Please
repair all divots, and keep carts away from
the greens and sand bunkers.
If
you have not received your membership
package, please call Garrett Davis at (936)
447-GOLF. All dues checks should be made out
to New Millenium Farms.
